This is a fabulous cafe to come to for a number of reasons. Free WiFi, comfy seating and friendly staff are just some of the pluses. The atmosphere and environment are pleasant (although the extreme Halloween decorations are not for the faint hearted!) - not least because it isn't overly noisy (no ridiculous banging of the coffee machine and the music isn't on massively loud!) and the music they do play is chilled, very tasteful and perfect for working with. This is one of the latest open cafes in Wolverhampton and the prices are brilliant. The toasties are yummy, the tea is great (although I'd far prefer spoons to those dratted sticks!) and the hot chocolate (although a tad sweet) is also lovely. It's a great place to meet friends, go for a date, go for coffee or just to work or relax. The attached gallery and cinema are one of a kind and instead of supporting some huge corporation, you're supporting a local business who have their customers best interests at heart. Definitely worth a visit!

At this present time the locks work Cafe Bar is probably wolverhampton's biggest venue. And is in desperate need of support as it has been threatened with closure due to lack of funds from the local council. The Lock Works Cafe Bar combines a cinema along with bar and cafe. There are also other activities throughout the week such as language clubs, knitting nights and much much more. Please do support as much as you can as we might lose this facility for good.
